Higher Ovarian Cancer Survival Rates for Women with Certain Gene Mutations

An NCI-sponsored multicenter study provides strong evidence that BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutation carriers with ovarian cancer had higher survival rates than women with ovarian cancer who did not have mutations in these genes.
